We have several artists who cover a wide range of styles, and we pride ourselves on treating all of our clients with love and respect. There is no piece too big or small for us to handle, and we give our dedication and passion to each piece we create to ensure our clients get the best tattoo possible.

Melissa is the owner of Valkyrie and has been tattooing since 2005.
She is experienced with many styles but her main focus is fine line floral and botanical, geometric and dotwork.
She is experienced with tattoo coverups and tattooing over scars.

Dísa
Dísa started at Valkyrie in January 2022 with Melissa as her mentor and is now a full time artist. Dísa graduated from Fjölbrautaskólanum í Breiðholti in 2016 with an art degree and she has been drawing both for personal work as well as freelance work. Dísa loves colorful designs and fantasy creatures, all things cartoon/anime as well as illustrative style, so if you think that fits with your idea, then Dísa is for you.
Haraldur
Haraldur “Halli” has been tattooing since January 2022. He has a diploma in illustration and a BA in animation from Leeds Arts University. Halli is a versatile artist and loves trying out new styles and making custom designs that flows with the body. Styles and subjects that Halli tattoos in range from colourful silly/cute cartoons, video games, Traditional Japanese, traditional American, mythology and animals. He is also interested in trying out realism. Halli works both in colours and blackwork
Karítas
Karítas has been tattooing since early 2021. She has a diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration and uses her illustrative skills to create unique tattoos for her clients. Karítas is strong in both colours and blackwork. If enchanting and stylist tattoos are your thing, then Karítas is your gal.

Nýa
Nýa is the new goblin on the block and started their apprenticeship under the guidance of Melissa in the summer of 2023. Ever since they could wield a pencil, Nýa has been drawing their whole life. In 2020 they graduated with B.A. degree in graphic design at LHÍ (Iceland University of Arts). Nýa values in being an open-minded individual and strives to make their clients feel welcome and respected, no matter of gender, age, ethnicity or sexual orientation. They are always open to all new ideas!

Please read through the following information before requesting an appointment:
~We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, no exceptions

~ We have a very strict no drug/alcohol policy. We will refuse service to anyone that appears to be under the influence. If you arrive to your appointment intoxicated you will lose your appointment and your deposit.

~ To request an appointment please send us a message and give us a detailed description of your idea. Include size, placement and the desired time you would like to be tattooed. Deposits are required to secure bookings. The deposit is 5.000 ISK per person and is applied to the final cost of the tattoo. It is refundable if the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours or more before the appointment time.
