We have several artists who cover a wide range of styles, and we pride ourselves on treating all of our clients with love and respect. Melissa is the owner of Valkyrie and has been tattooing since 2005.
She is experienced with many styles but her main focus is fine line floral and botanical, geometric and dotwork.
She is experienced with tattoo coverups and tattooing over scars.

Karítas has been tattooing since early 2021. She has a diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration and uses her illustrative skills to create unique tattoos for her clients. Karítas is strong in both colours and blackwork. If enchanting and stylist tattoos are your thing, then Karítas is your gal.
Haraldur is an apprentice and has been tattooing since 2022, but he has been capturing the worlds inhabitants hearts long before that.
He has a diploma in illustration and a BA in animation from Leeds arts university, so he is a diverse artist that likes trying out new styles.
Rakel started out handpoking in 2017 before switching to the machine in 2020.
Her favorite styles to tattoo are illustrative blackwork and colorful traditional.
Ewa is has been tattooing from 2018. She specialises in black and grey realism, portraits and colourful tattoos. Before she started her tattoo career she studied glass art for 5 years and has a masters degree in that profession from the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
Viktor has been tattooing since early 2021 and has been focusing mainly on Blackwork but is open to other styles.
Íris has been tattooing since 2019. She specializes in American traditional and neo traditional. She has good knowledge in black and grey and colorful pictures.
Dísa is a new member to the Valkyrie team! She started her tattoo apprenticeship in January 2022 with Melissa as her mentor. Dísa graduated from Fjölbrautaskólanum í Breiðholti in 2016 with an art degree and she has been drawing both for personal work as well as freelance work. Dísa loves colorful designs and fantasy creatures as well as all things cartoon, so if you think that fits with your idea, then Dísa is for you.
Klaudia started handpoking in 2018, then switched to machine in 2021. Her favourite styles are linocuts and realistic tattoos, but she's still exploring and always open to new ideas.
Please read through the following information before requesting an appointment:
~We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, no exceptions
~ We have a very strict no drug/alcohol policy. We will refuse service to anyone that appears to be under the influence. If you arrive to your appointment intoxicated you will lose your appointment and your deposit.
~ To request an appointment please send us a message and give us a detailed description of your idea. Include size, placement and the desired time you would like to be tattooed. Deposits are required to secure bookings. The deposit is 5.000 ISK per person and is applied to the final cost of the tattoo. It is refundable if the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours or more before the appointment time.
